Awesome Reflection on tension, Christy. Yoga and Mindfulness has taught me so much about my relationship to my body. Sometimes when I am feeling tension in my body, I’ll visualize sending breath to that part of my body and have a conversation with the tension and ask it what it needs from me to be able to loosen its grip on me.

In your response to your question: I love being outdoors. I still hike weekly when able and I feel so much more centered and grounded when I’m outdoors.

I completely agree that yoga and mindfulness has greatly improved my relationship to my body. I like the idea of having a conversation with the tension! I will notice it through mindfulness, but I'm not sure if I've ever given it a chance to really talk to me.

Not me over here lowering my shoulders from their tense position as I read this…

I absolutely love To Be Magnetic and the message they teach! Their podcast is very helpful, especially the episode on the connection between Love and Money. When I don't make time for nature, my mental health directly suffers! I love to be in relationship with nature 🫶🏼

Oh that's so cool - I love To Be Magnetic! I am a devout (read, capricorn lol) pathway member and podcast follower. It helps me immensely. And I completely feel the same about nature and my mental health, too.

I've been contemplating writing about my latest TBM challenge as the newsletter for next week :)

As we've discussed, I love how you're doing this work, Christy! I'm so thankful you are and look forward to reading your thoughts on Wednesdays. As for this week's question, my answer is an absolute YES although I am also a bit of an indoor cat. I notice I've felt numb with a swirl of all the other emotions capped underneath for weeks now and it's no coincidence that our weather is inhospitable to long walks outside, try as I might. Walking keeps me somewhat sane so I move indoors and wait for better weather.

Thanks for reading, Shae! I completely agree about outdoor walks keeping me sane. I have tried to still fit in shorter ones with this weather for just that reason, but hopefully much better walk days are in our near future, too.
